Wanting to Buy a decent Pack

Hi guys/gals
I am looking at walking some of the National Park multi-day tramps. I haven't done any multi-days before and hence my gear is very basic. I have a decent set of boots but I am looking to buy a back-pack which would be decent quality but also fairly cheap (I am living on a student budget !).
So what do you guys recomend? I don't mind second hand either. Is anyone looking to sell, by any chance?
Regards
Parham
trademe A brand youve heard of and post the link to the auction if you want a double check. We wont poach your leads.
trademe.
around 70 litres, should do, 80 if you're doing long trips and or winter camping.
Osprey are a great brand
black diamond, also, but their climbing packs dont have external pockets
gregory another good brand
arcteryx, good
berghaus
deuter, Ok
Aarn are good but you need to get them fitted up properly they are fiddly to setup for comfort.
macpac are good but more for bush bashing, tehy are on the heavy side, same with one planet...
If you want a good one stop being a tight ass and go down the shop and pic one you like. Otherwise some of the 50/60$ no name packs on trade me are Ok if you don't abuse them to much. Pro tip - 'some'.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I have checked trademe and I do agree with mattski, they are truly "no-name" brands. But I think to get me started, they may do. Could you check these out and comment on what you think:

also watch the sales
I think Mountain Equipment has a sale now.
They are both no gold, first one is shit, second one looks like it could get ugly if carrying a heavy load. Keep looking. It needs ice axe loops for a start.

This is a family and family friendly site. Its also work friendly. What would happen if you boss or even worse one of your customers looked over your shoulder and read that post.
The word rubbish would of been more appropriate. I dont understand what you mean by "no gold"
