i read in the news that a new hut has been opened
i was wondering which hut it was
it also mentioned about the new swing bridge across the heaphy river
There is a new hut at Perry Saddle http://www.tramper.co.nz/?8558 and another new one at Heaphy http://www.tramper.co.nz/?8560. They are large, quite well appointed huts I think, considering the number of people using the track.
There is a new swing bridge across the Heaphy River just upstream Lewis Hut. This replaces two bridges that were just downstream of the hut.
