Wangapeka Track
Planning to visit NZ again this Sept (2008)-- I am aware it is not the best time conditions-wise (aside from skiing) but only opportunity. Looking for SI ideas for this time? Interested in local experience of Wangapeka at this time particularly re probable seriousness of snow conditions on passes.
John
There's really only Little Wanganui Saddle at 1100m, should be fine, i.e. no snow at all, as it's well away from the Main Divide.
