Hi are you the same Paul Delis that used to be on the 4wd forum Long time no hear.
Hi, yes I sure am, caught again, small world..., yes I haven't been on the forum for a long time, still do 4wding but its all exploring and camping, you know the saying "don't leave town till you have seen the country", cheers Paul
Hilleberg tents are awesome: light, multi-pitch, very well designed and not cheap. Very impressed with the one model I saw. Do you have a website for them yet?
Hi, thanks for the good reference, we have them on our current web site http://www.delis.co.nz/tents-shelters-xidg40772.html however we are setting up a new web site which will include top line, tramping, hiking, camping gear, cheers Paul
Hi Paul (and Deb) What a surprise to see you on tramper. I was going to ask generally on this forum if anyone had bought and was using a Vaude Power Lizard tent but then saw that you were the person behind the Hillberg postings. I hope it is not too oppositional to ask everyone who is reading this if they are using a Vaude Power Lizard and if so how it has been standing up to rain and weather. Is there anyone out there using one? These two person tents are 1 kg. Is there a Hillberg that can match this Paul?
Hi Di Sorry I forgot to look at this, probably thinking I am ignoring you, not oppositional to ask at all, this is doing your home work, I would do the same, how ever I can help you, check this youtube vid out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE17o6T2E7E that may answer some questions. Hillebergs nearest tent is this http://www.hilleberg.com/home/products/anjan/anjan2.php Cheers Paul
Hi Paul What's the weight on the Anjan 2? I couldn't spot this anywhere on that page. Could always phone you I suppose but you might talk me into a sale. (!!) Horrors about that Vaude PowerLizard . Bivvy bags are useless too as they just sweat even in snow. Maybe going back to a fly is the way to go these days for weight and convenience. The hubba is a good back up though for alpine and unreliable weather. It's just two ks too heavy!
Hi Di Here is the web link http://www.hilleberg.com/home/products/anjan/anjan2.php The weight is 1.7kg but really is a proper two person tent and best of all, waterproof Cheers Paul
