NZ Map (experimental)

Was checking this feature out, very interesting. But I always thought Mount Cook was in the South Island at least until I clicked on the little green marker over Great Mercury Island. But hey! I don't mind it just means I have less distance to get there. The map is a great feature.
Ha! I see what has happened. There is actually a Mt Cook on Mercury Island. It is all of 96m high. Someone has pulled the location from the names database without checking where it is. If a mountain 96m high can be as glaciated as the one shown in the photo then I guess global warming really is a myth. I have noticed that the Manukau Tramping Club is located away up north near Kaitaia. There is actually a location there called Manukau so guess the reasons must be similar.
Thanks -- I've fixed both. :-) The map is working a little better now -- it no longer refreshes itself when you click a marker. I will overlay images onto it as soon as I have a moment.
I am getting a message about the Google API being for the wrong web site. This has happened on two separate PCs today so it isn't me.
Ditto, what pmcke said.
