Hi Helen, sorry to hear of your loss. Good that you enjoy walking - it can be a great way to set aside time to think and progress emotions. I'm new to the forum here too and I'm not even in NZ yet! I'm moving to Christchurch from Australia on 8 Jan 2011 and can't wait to start exploring the beautiful Southern Alps. If you ever find yourself down our way, happy to meet up :)
