Doc delaying funding for backcountry trust

I’d read earlier this year that their finances were a mess because central govt had changed their funding. Now it looks like it’s impacting their ability to maintain huts,, and to help others do so.

its all expensive huts in the front country now that soaks up all the money.... encourages too many people to compete for the upmarket huts...
