Kaikoura snow levels & loadings
Anyone got visibilty of the Seaward Kaikoras from where they are? A guess asto the altitude of the snowline, and the depth of snow up to say 1600m would be appreciated. Before close-of-business Thursday if you can!
Basically, did all this rain fall as snow on the Kaikoura ranges or as rain, and how low?
Cheers - Matt
Mount Hut had very little snow below 1900m Still has 30cm at the base but close o 2M at the top. Kaikouras were too far north for this storm
