All these streams and rivers mentioned- Anatori, Webb, Kokopu, Independent and Frazer - seem to be pretty damn tight and gnarly on the Topo map to me. Alternatively, the ridges are at about 5-900m and have quite wide plateaus, but no tracks. Searchers are referring to the density of the bush, so very slow going. Hard to know what they were thinking. At least the weather has been kind. Here's hoping there's good news soon.
Ugh. Things aren't looking good if some kind of clue isn't dug up soon on where and when they might have even been trying to be.
> Despite the area covered and the growing resources thrown at the search, Cogger said this lack of firm details regarding the pair's intentions made it difficult to narrow down a possible route taken by the pair.

Awesome news, I honestly thought they had not survived after all this time
Each had minor injuries (apparently Jessica had a fall at some point?), they lit a fire, smoke spotted by searchers.
