Free GPS Topo Maps for Garmin - Mac Compatible
Hi there,
I just purchased a Garmin eTrex 20x and am trying to decide what route to go down for downloading free topo maps. I've come down to Mr. Purple's (http://gwprojects.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1810) or NZ Open Gps Mac downloads (http://www.nzopengps.org/public/Mac/). It appears that Mr. Purple's Mac compatible files haven't been updated since 2012, though I know they come highly recommended. Anyone have advice as to what's the best option? And instructions for a newbie for downloading and transferring to the GPS with a Mac Computer?
