How to get to Cape Brett from Auckland?
Hey guys,
A newbie hiker here, but absolutely loving it. Recently completed the Tongariro Crossing - and now, have a solid wishlist of hikes in NZ.
Next up: Cape Brett Track. Everything looks good, but have a question - wondering if you guys might be able to throw some suggestions here.
So, I live in Auckland at the moment and don't have a car. Have a motorcycle, but carrying all the stuff required for the hike (includes filmmaking gear too) on a motorcycle is not that safe (for me). And doesn't look like there is any public transport options available either to that side of this country.
Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions in getting from Auckland to the start of this Track (Oke Bay in Rawhiti)?
