Traverse along Kaimata Range

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to traverse the ridge from Mt Alexander to Mt Howe? Does the NE ridge from Mt Alexander to Pt 1427 go? Looks like it might work? But a lot can happen within a 20 metre contour!
I've just posted a photo of the ridge you speak of. Note though that they always look steeper when viewed face on. https://flic.kr/p/TiqiGy You can also view it here where you can zoom in a bit. I've wondered too as to how easy it might be to traverse.
No experience in the area but that looks like a doozy of a ridge from the pic. 500m elevation gain in just over a horizontal km means there has to be some steep bits in there!
Tramper Joe I've only been up on Mt Alexander not Mt Howe but I understand the traverse you are asking about is doable. There is some steep and eroding stuff and you may well have to leave the ridge crest in places. IAD & NZFS hunters used to roam this part of the range when hunting deer and chamois. Mountain climbing guide books call Mt Alexander grade 1+ and Mt Howe is not rated.
