If you could tramp only one day!

Hello everyone! I will be coming from Portland Oregon at the beginning of Dec to visit NZ. I will be touring the south island for 15 days on a motorcycle. Here's my route: http://goo.gl/maps/s0JZ
I will be doing a doubtful sound 2 day kayak trip and a full day guided Franz Josef tramp as well as the "awesome foursome" in Queenstown (bungee, jet boat, heli ride to the put in point for white water rafting). Other than that I will be touring the country. I don't have many other free days but I would like to put aside 1 day for a nice tramp. I feel like I will be doing some good exploring in the Fiordland and glacier area so I was thinking of doing the tramp up by Picton/Nelson. Are there some great 1 day tramps up in the Abel Tasman area or is it better to put the day at a tramp down in the Queenstown area?
Recommendations greatly appreciated!
Lake Angelus is a good walk in the Nelson lakes national park, but its a bit out of your way and is a long day. Could also walk around Lake Rotioiti.
Could detour and climb Mt Stokes in the Marlborough sounds which would give a view of the Sounds and surrounding area.
Been a few years since I done any walking in Able Tasman, could always do 1 day of the great walk then take the water taxi back. Although, I do not beleive able Tasman coastal walk is that great.
Could walk into Harwoods hole, from memory the tramp is only about a hour so maybe to short. Still a impressive sight.
Thank you for your response! I think the Mt. Stokes tramp sounds quite nice. My only concern is if the road from Linkwater to the track is sealed or not. I will be on a motorcycle so I need to make sure the road is suitable.
Its only sealed to the end of the Kenepuru Sounds, then there is 12km or so of well formed gravel road to the start of the track.
