Mount Somers Walkway Facebook page.
Glen Currie has started a Facebook page called Mount Somers Walkway and made me an administrator. For a number of reasons, this will be temporary for me and someone else will pick up the baton. The Mt Somers Walkway Society precipitated this page to promote & advise on all things Mt Somers.I ask that people here,if they agree,to `like` & `share` this page to get it out there.
Mt Somers Walkway Society,Walkways,is very involved with track improvements, have built Pinnacles Hut & the Acland Shelter, have had a broom & gorse program for 25 years & work with DOC to improve the whole experience in this area. Our hope is that this digital footprint will help engage with the tramping community. It`s early days but the page will improve as the dinosaur becomes extinct & younger people have more input!
