Trip options between Thames - Rotorua
Have a two-day window next week and I want to do an overnight trip within 3 hours drive of Auckland, so am thinking Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Rotorua areas. My backup plan is to head up to the Pinnacles near Thames, but I can do that anytime. No off-track travel. Cheers in advance.
This site has an useful track finder function up in the top toolbar. Entering in 300km from Auckland and overnight trips of any difficulty gives you 41 options...
