Does MacPac usually have a Boxing Day Sale? Keen to get one of their packs for a member of the family... cheers.
They have 40% off their packs NOW, until Dec 24th. Have a chat with your local staff perhaps ?. They can possibly give you an indication. Macpac seem to have sales regularly enough I would hesitate to buy anything until it came back on sale.
Boxing Day sale ending Wednesday Jan 2nd. Whaddya' know ?. Packs 40% off !. Never to be repeated.

Just an FYI on sales in general - end of season clearance is the best time to get usually the best price on any outdoor gear. Most companies will clear stock at the same as or below the best sale price that product has been on. Then they sometimes do extra discounts off the lowest marked clearance price in order to get rid of old season colours before new stock arrives. If the pack you’re after has new colours coming for the next season the 2018 versions may have been cleared. Most NZ retailers are doing this in january so it’s the ideal time for bargain hunters.
