Overcrowding in National Parks
Came across this article in the Guardian about visitor numbers to US National Parks and the issues that is raising and their solutions to manage numbers and their impacts.

Last week in Nelson Lakes there was hardly anyone in the valleys and it wasn’t until we got up to Angelus hut that we encountered more people. Stunning day up the Cedric route and along the ridge lines - still a few patches of snow around to add to the scenery.
