Hi Just wondering if anyone has done this recently and can comment on time taken and conditions when using Maungaorangi Track please? Im assuming you are not able to walk to Boyd Lodge through North Arm?

Can't comment on the route through Maungaorangi, never done it.
It may be possible to walk via North Arm if you get permission from the leaseholders, which I believe is Helisika?
Give them a ring and enquire?
Helisika gave me permission to walk up the Mangamingi through to Makorako and the Rangitikei a few years ago,it really depends if they have hunters in that block.
