Jet boil...

Hi guys. Finally back from my long trip in Europe...I've been away for more than a month. Hope everyone is great...it's spring time..and new adventures on the way... Did anyone use jet boil pot?looks very interesting but price of course its not the most convenient...did someone of you got it? Any suggestions always appreciated...
I know a few people with them and they love them. The integrated billy and stove does make for higher efficiency but this is at the expense of flexibility. If you always cook for 2 or less and nothing to complex the jet boil or one of the many similar cooksets will work perfectly. If you are like me and often do Curry's from scratch and sometimes cook for 5 or more you will test its limits. Of all the versions of this its the Primus Eta that I would buy. The Eta has bigger pots and it can be matched with the primus spider stove giving white gas burn ability at a price or 2
For just boiling water, there's really only a matter of seconds difference. The trick is that people will boil a small measured amount in the JB, compared to a larger amount in other devices. Larger volumes taking longer time. I've got the Torpedo7 boiler. Much cheaper than JB. Carries the larger 230g gas canister. You'll pay a premium for JB gas too. They have kettles & fry pans etc that will also fit the burner. https://www.torpedo7.co.nz/images/products/T7C6CN6RPXX_zoom_4.jpg Mostly, been using an anodised aluminium kettle plus small Macpac burner for boil-ups. About half the weight. Now have the Sea-to-Summit collapsable sillicon kettle & pot set, also. Helps reduce pack volume. All depends on how you want to trip ?.
I have a Jetboil and I do love it. The piezo's on them break real easy, so always have another way of lighting them. You also need to be careful of to much wind. Would I buy another one......if budget wasn't an issue probably not, I would go for maybe the MSR windburner as they are better in the wind. But, if you think about where you are setting it up, it's not an issue.
Thanks guys. @pro-active I might look into this torpedo now...see how it is.
With the msr version look at the Reactor. It uses a catalytic element instead of a flame and theoretically produces less carbon monoxide
