North face Rain jacket

I'm a big fan of lightweight gear, and have had this Rab Charge jacket for a couple of years and it's not let me down, stood up to the downpours last weekend on Greenstone track, https://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/mens-clothing-c1/mens-waterproof-shell-c51/waterproof-jackets-c203/spark-jacket-p4986 The pockets are in an unusual place, opening from the centre rather than side, there's the Rab Charge on the same page with more normal ones, and would have been my choice at the time, but was out of stock. That said the pockets are good for ventilation when not walking directly into rain. I never been a great fan of pit zips, add weight and a faff to use. It light enough for summer, and simply wear more layers under it for cooler weather.
