Tracks, routes, and huts
Has anyone been up Harman Pass recently? I'm planning a trip in Arthur's the second week in December and am curious what the conditions will be like.
Thanks for the responses - I walked from the Akatarawa saddle along the 4 WD road to the hut. This took about 2 1/2 hours, with the last 20minutes or so being a bush track ...

Sorry no (I don't have a GPS). It's one of the best day walks around I think -- particularly when it's warmer and splashing around in a river is more fun.

yea wnet in over the private land follwed track for about 30 min then sidled around a bloody big ridge and followed down a spur and met up with the track to ironbark.

Probably too late now - the tracks are very well defined and marked. There are no major river crossings. The only thing is the coastal tracks can be very soft and boggy.
