Hi people, my name is Leon. I accidentally became involved in tramping in a backwards sort of way. I have always had a fascination for old camping and military equipment. So after discvering homemade alcohol stoves, and making a cook kit up, I needed a real life test area. The memories of Cubs and Scouts came flooding back and it was time to leave the car at home and get out and do it. I have been known to hitch-hike to my start location and hitch-hike home again after a few nights wandering. I have since honed my skills again and now enjoy making my pack lighter and custom making my equipment to suit my needs.
