Australian but been in NZ since 2006. Keen tramper in the Tararuas in particular but done a bit elsewhere. I'm slowly pegging away at getting all the named 1000m peaks in the Tararuas. Gradually getting into the mountaineering thing too - done a fair bit of trad rock in Australia but snow and ice is all new and exciting. I'm always on the lookout for a range of tramping partners too. I organise suburban (eg Mt Kaukau, Hawkins Hill, etc) 2-3 hour night walks every couple of weeks on average, as well as try to get out to the Tararuas every second weekend or so.
