hi there. i'm a 23 year old avid tramper of this fair country of ours. my partner and i try to go tramping as much as possible and have completed a number of interesting tramps over the past few years. personal highlights would have to be; 'the tongariro crossing,' an overnight stay on the 'rakiura track' on stewart island and reaching the summit of 'mt pirongia.' we recently moved to dunedin and are making our way through tracks in the wondeful book; 'Day Walks of Dunedin and Coastal Otago' by Bill Wilson which has taken us to some beautiful spots around Dunedin (highly recommended!) we prefer 'out of the way' tramps with minimal human contact (tongariro crossing was a bit overwhelming for us, as anyone who's tramped it can vouch for!)
