Drywall is a wall construction comprised of thin sheets of gypsum (a kind of mineral) and its main construction material. Gypsum boards are coated with a mixture of solvents and water which allow it to be easily cut, drilled, and sanded. The drywall panels are then able to be assemble using fasteners that are specially designed that allow them to attach to wall joists and wall studs with no screws or nails.
