Visiting from the USA. Ultra trail runner and backpacker. Wanting to see some of the countryside before I head back in a few weeks. Interested in daytrips, weekend or multi-day treks. Working on Hiking the Appalachian trail in pieces back in the states. Looking fwd to seeing the south island, and North Island hikes. I can use suggestions, but have some hikes/trailruns in mind. :)
