Male, 29 years young, native german. Started tramping when i came over to New Zealand in January 2010. Currently living and working in Nelson. I am a member of the Waimea Tramping Club and therefore going tramping regulary. Apart from that i am always up for spontaneous, private trips if time and money allows. Tramping Record: Climbed several peaks in Kahurangi NP, Nelson Lakes NP, Mt Richmond FP and Marlborough region such as Mt Owen, Mt Arthur, Mt Lodestone, Mt Starveall, Mt Robert, Sunset Saddle, Ben Nevis, Gordons Knob, Editor Hill, Dun Mountain and others. So far all my adventures took place below 2000m altitude, but i would love to "go higher" and start gathering experience above the 2000 meter mark. Haven´t done much tramping further south yet except climbing Mt Fox in Fox Glacier. Got a little experience in tramping in snow, wearing crampons and using an ice axe, but not enough to go out on a serious snow trip by myself.
