Near the summit of Mt Taylor,2333m.Sweeping views include Lake Heron(below),Mts Cook and Tasman,Mt Arrowsmith,Hutt etc.Stayed at Double Hut(2.5 hrs from L. Heron carpark) and went up Taylor from here.Nothing technical,just a good set of lungs required!Well worth the effort.
