Zampa Tarn

    Just did this tramp last weekend over Travers peak from Lewis pass to Zampa Tarn. A steady climb up through the beech to the bushline and then a grunt up to the top. Fantastic walking along the tops to Trovatore tarns for lunch and the on to Zampa Tarn for the night. Starry night with a full moon and a crystal clear morning made for an early rise to watch the sun come up. Then had the privilege of watching a buck chamois traverse the bluffs on the other side of the Tarn and disappear over the ridge. Love my new Hubba Hubba tent
