I'm a 26 y/o male planning to be in NZ from December 2010 until May or June 2011 looking for tramping company. I recently undertook my first multi day overnight backpack trip in the Olympics in Washington, USA and am officially hooked. I have relatively limited experience but will be traveling with all gear and in shape for trips of 4-5 days.

I'll be in Nelson until mid December and then will be looking to do some tramping on the South Island. My priority is to spend significant time in Arthurs Pass, Mt. Cook, and Mt. Aspiring areas during December, January, and February but willing to change plans and go to Fiordland or Stewart Island if the opportunity presented itself.
