This walkway crosses private farmland. It is open 8am-6pm during summer, shorter hours in winter, and closed for lambing during August and September.
From the car park, the track crosses farmland to a junction, then follows a long loop past lookouts and wetlands. A number of side tracks lead to coastal viewpoints, and another leads to Ella Peak (346m).
