A fresh look at the descent to Lake Nerine.
If visiting the lake from Park Pass it is inevitable you will find yourself at the top of this slope in a small gap in the ridge alt 1590m. The simplest descent is via the true left close to the rock ridge in the east(right). Only snow at the top in mid march 2010.

pmcke We just came down the gully on the right that is marked by the debris on the edge of the lake. On an earlier trip the slopes to the left were snow covered and it was an easy glisade down to the lake.
