Trains Hut
6 bunk standard hut in the Waitotara conservancy. 4 hours in from taumatatahi rd. Take a rod the river has some serious fish in it. The first hour on a road is very muddy as is typical in papa clay country when its wet its murder.

Ruger I was in there with my three girls at christmas and someone had been thinning the goats out plenty of carcases on & off the track.

bigpaul Goats! ye gods they are a plague in the area. Saw 3 deer and a couple of pigs. Talked to a possum hunter who said wild cats where a bigger problem which would account for the lack of kiwi calling at night only heard one.
