Getting there
|
On the Te Araroa trail between Top Wairoa and Porters huts. As a weekend trip drive to the Inwood Lookout via Wai-iti Road. There is a marked track up the Gordon Range. Follow the poles that lead down to the bush edge above the Motueka river. Continue on the marked track down to the river. A sign at the bottom says 45 mins to hut. Follow the markers until you see another sign on the true left. Cross the river here and follow the track up to the hut (approx 20 mins). |
