Burn Hut in the Mangahao catchment, Northern Tararua Range. A good loop is from the number 2 dam downriver to the bridge over the number 3 creek then up the ridge to the hut, from there follow the track along the tops to the ridge down to College Creek and the number 1 Dam, followed by a 4km road walk back to the number 2 dam
