This walkway crosses private farmland. It is open 8am-6pm during summer, shorter hours in winter, and closed for lambing during August and September.
From the car park, the track crosses farmland to an old lime quarry and onward to the loop junction (toilet here). Take the loop to the lookout at Mount Cass.
