Bealey Chasm and Valley

If your are short of time or just need or just passing through Arthurs Pass and need an excellent short walk with geat views ? then Bealey Chasm is an ideal walk to spend a few hours on. There is a small parking bay marked on the side of the road and the track heads through beach forest and after a few minutes crosses a foot bridge. After about another half hour you come out to the river bed and the track continues to follow the cairns to the end, where there are great views and lots of photo opportunities of both the valley and Rolleston glacier.
