Aorere Goldfields Track

The track passes an old ground-sluicing claim worked in the 1880s following part of the original benched miners' track. View water races, the Aorere Caves; Stafford's and Ballroom (torch required, extra care in these caves). The track loops past the scenic and man-made Druggans Dam. Optional return via a 4WD track back to the carpark (shared with Mountain Bikes).
