An historic boundary keeper's hut on Hut Creek near the Otematata River. The stone hut is tidy, and was restored in 2010.

Take Awakino Skifield Road west of Kurow, and park over the bridge, on the true left of the Awakino River East Branch. Follow the 4WD track upriver, past another hut, sidling under Kohurau, then dropping into Hut Creek. |
