This photo was taken from Point 1809m on the Toaroha Range NW of Mt Chamberlin and looks eastward toward the main divide. Commodore Ridge is in the the foreground. The low point in Commodore Ridge is a saddle between the Kokatahi River on the left and the Park stream tributary of the Mungo River on the right. This pic mainly captures the sunny faces which are largely snow free. The shaded southerly & eastern faces in Park Stream still held a lot of snow.
