Islands Hut in the Eyre mountains. Probably the most remote hut in the park, and a great destination if for that reason alone. The hut lies in the uppermost reaches of the valley - mainly tussock and scrub with islands of beech is sheltered spots, one of which shelters the hut. North of the hut peaks climb to over 1700m.
