From the track start on the Flat it's a bit over 2hrs of up hill then 20 minutes down to the hut. The track is in quite good condition except for the scrub zone where the Toi Toi has got away a bit. It's still easy to follow. There are several snow poles leading off the ridge top marking the way to the hut.
