"Old" Julia hut
Close to the "New" Julia hut near the confluence of Julia & Mary Creeks where they join to form the Taipo River. This hut was beautifully restored by volunteers in early 2014. It appears that is to be maintained as an "historic hut" by Permolat and DOC.
I spent a bit of time at this hut back in the early/mid 1970's and it had a big porch back then that has since been removed.
