This pic is of the eastern side of Genoa Peak and was taken from just above Pinnacle biv on the southern flank of Mt Crinkle Top. It illustrates the type of country near the biv.

  • glennj glennj I traversed Genoa Pk twice earlier this month going to and from the derelict Blue Duck Bivvy. The wx was perfect. The views from Genoa Peak are magnificent. It is one of my favourite hills, of the many I've climbed, as far as views go.

  • glennj glennj I traversed Genoa Peak yesterday in stunning weather conditions. The area is magic! The trip was partly a celebration of my first ascent of Genoa Peak 40 years ago and a chance to have a look at the replacement Crinkle Top/Pinnacle biv.
