Cattle Ridge Hut: nestled in a tussock and letherleaf basin at the north end of Cattle Ridge. This was a good sheltered spot in the westerly howling the ridge oon my visit, but looks pretty exposed to the south.

Wot no fire? Surely that leatherleaf would burn quite nicely?

  • monkeysh1ne monkeysh1ne Haha I kinda like Leatherleaf - sound like something Hobbits would smoke. Bummer about no fire but then it stills beats the alternatives!
