A large braided river crossing, it was 3 or 4 seperate water channels seperated by gravel islands when this photo was taken. I camped in the scrub to the right of frame with some hunters I met there who said they have seen the intire area underwater when the Pykes in flood. Looking Southwest towards Mt Pyke.
