Mole Hut
A brilliant hut to visit close to Murchison within the Tutaki Conservation Area, on the edge of Nelson Lakes National ParkThere are a few ways to access this hut, we walked in via Mole stream which is accessed off Tutaki road south. We walked out via the Jameson Ridge track which also leads back to Tutaki road south. You can also reach Mole hut via the Tiraumea track/Hut, access for this option is also from Tutaki. There is also access from the D'Urville valley as well via Tiraumea Saddle/Track. Apparently the Bull creek track is no longer maintained.
