Mangamuka Hut
Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park
A pleasant little 4-bunk hut, recently done-up and reguarly maintained by the Tauranga Deer Stalkers. The recent improvements to the bunks and exterior now mean it is the flashest of the remaining 5 basic huts in the Kaimai's.

Getting there
|
Access is most commonly via 2 trails. The first begins on the unmaintained section of North-South Track where the track meets the Ngamuwahine River, while the next begins to the north on a section of the Te Tuhi track. Both are unmaintained and minimilistic. |
