Easy to miss - hard to forget. About 1km up the road from the Boyle Outdoor Ed Centre & end of St James W-Way. About 3-4 km down from Palmer Lodge (NZDA hut). Follow normal rest area sign off SH7 to gravel parking area. Walk 100m upstream to 3-4 holes next to Lewis River. Note: These may be flooded in high river levels. Warning: Sandflies vicious!
