Jaquiery Stream Shelter
Jaquiery Stream Shelter (sleeps 2, river water, dilapidated) is located at the confluence of Jaquery Stream and the Grebe River, on the north-west bank. It provides a convenient emergency shelter for anyone trapped on the 'wrong' side of the Jaquiery after rain, and also serves a base for exploring the Jaquiery, and continuing over to Lake Roe.
The hut is in dilapidated condition, and has no facilities beyond a rickety table. A canvas groundsheet was present when I stayed (3 days waiting for river levels to drop) and is handy to patch the holes in the walls.
